The journey of our founder, Francois, began in 2011 at the sales counter of a specialised family-run flashing business. It was here, amongst the literal nuts and bolts of the trade, that he developed a deep-rooted understanding of roof fabrication and the vital importance of technical precision.

His dedication to excellence and deep industry expertise saw him progress steadily through the organisation, ultimately being appointed General Manager. Following the acquisition of the business by a multinational industry leader in 2018, Francois played a pivotal role in leading the transition and overseeing operations under the global brand, Youngman Roofing. This experience further strengthened his expertise in operating within large-scale industrial environments while upholding the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

In 2020, the call of the Garden Route and the desire for independent craftsmanship led Francois to acquire a 50% stake in a local roofing institution with a 35-year legacy. For six years, he combined that deep-seated local history with modern management styles, growing the business and refining the art of client service in the Western Cape.

In 2026, after years of building local homes and commercial landmarks, Francois launched a new journey. This venture is the culmination of 15 years of industry-leading experience—designed to bring the Garden Route a roofing service that is technically superior, digitally streamlined, and backed by a decade and a half of proven expertise.
